Okay! So as far as I understand it, to “accept” this award, you have to thank the person who nominated you (a zillion thanks to gentlekindness). Then you answer the questions I’ve written for you, and then pass along your own set of questions to your own nominees. It took me hours to figure out who to nominate! It is very hard to keep it down to these few people. And I’m still not sure if I’ve gotten females on here or what — some blogs are pretty ambiguous. 🙂 So I mean no offense if I’ve nominated you for this and you’re not actually female. 😉
I think you’re supposed to choose 5-11 questions to ask your nominees. And you’re supposed to choose 5-11 nominees to pass this award on to.

Congratulations on your award! You deserve it. Thank you for the nomination as well. I wish you the best on continuing to write without censoring yourself, it is the way to go, you can always edit and adjust grammar later.

Hi InnerDragon – thank you for nominating me – I accept.
Here are my answers…
1. White crowned sparrows. (I hope birds are acceptable.)
2. I don’t have the kind of lifestyle that would allow for anything other than a desert tortoise, but if it did, I would have some kind of bird, probably a parakeet.
3. Dogs
4. Roadrunner. I spend a lot of time on the road, like to enjoy the morning sun, and really don’t care to fly.
5. I live in the desert and we really only have 2 seasons – Heaven and Hell. Each has its pros and cons, and I have no real preference.
6. Ditto.
7. I live close to Anza Borrego Desert State Park and drive through it often. But the only place on the planet that I haven’t been in a long time and I’d love to return to is Tenerife.

Oh wow! Thanks for answering all the questions! I have never considered the roadrunner! I looked up Anza Borrego Desert State Park in Google images just now. It looks beautiful. And woooow, Tenerife looks like gorgeous beaches!
