Comic: Depression, The World is Flat (Comic#016)

Some people believe the world is round. People with depression have reason to think otherwise.

  1. I wish there was a button I could press to make that go away. Unfortunately there isn’t. But I can tell a story about the type of person I think you are, and why I admire this trait about you.

When I first started at the pharmacy, and was thrown from office to office, I landed in the office next to you. I didn’t know any of the procedures that were in place. I was getting reprimanded on a consistent basis, but no one would take the time to show me what needed to be done, except you.

The part that I admire, is that everyone else was too busy, or concerned with their own work to even try to help me figure out all of the little policies and procedures. You, however, took the time to help, regardless of the situation. Not only that, but you did it with a smile on your face, and genuinely, in your heart! Even on those days where you didn’t get a lot of sleep.

You have that ability inside you, and I’ve seen it first hand. I hope one day it comes back to the surface, and the rest of the world will have no choice but to see what you are truly capable of.

    • I just noticed that I “replied” the wrong way, so you might not have ever seen it:
